No-Fault and Workers Compensation Billing Specialist

Job Description:

Prepare, review, and electronically submit medical claims to Workers Comp carriers and No-Fault insurers.
Ensuring accurate carrier/claim information.
Strong understanding of WC/NF fee schedules, regulations, and terminology.
Proficiency with practice management software and Microsoft office.
Responsible for aggressive follow-up of unpaid/denied claims.
Responsible for review and correction of denied claims in accordance with Federal and payer specific rules and regulations.
Responsible to call patients/lawyers office/co-workers to obtain full Workers Compensation or No Fault Case information for timely claim submission.
Ensure all claims are worked within 48-72 hours of receipt.
Must exhibit a high degree of attention to detail.
Ability to work productively as part of a team and maintain professional conduct with colleagues and patients.
